Tara Litvack

Tara Litvack

Biography

Music Director, Pianist, Accompanist, Vocal Coach and Arranger. I have worked with companies in Canada including Mirvish Productions, the Stratford Festival, the Shaw Festival, the Charlottetown Festival, and the Musical Stage Co. among many others. I was the Shaw Music Intern in 2014 and was the first woman to conduct a musical on the Festival Stage there. I recently did a site-specific Sweeney Todd in London, England. This past spring I transcribed a 2.5 hour a capella opera, Obeah Opera, for The Luminato Festival. I am a sought out audition accompanist playing for multitudes of companies including the Canadian auditions for Dear Evan Hansen with Mirvish Productions and The Stratford Festival's season auditions. My favourite place to be is in the pit and I have worked with Mirvish, Stratford, Shaw, the Charlottetown Festival, among other regional theatres as a pit musician. I will be relocating to Glasgow, UK to complete my Masters in the fall and hope to make new roots in the UK after.
