Simone Allen

Biography

Simone Allen is a singer/songwriter, composer/lyricist for musical theater, music director, pianist, and arranger based in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently developing a new musical called OPUS, which is loosely based on the life of Clara Wieck Schumann (New York SongSpace grant recipient). She has performed at venues such as Signature Theatre, 54 Below, Joe's Pub, Rockwood Music Hall, The Eugene O’Neill Center, The Green Room 42, and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. She has collaborated with artists such as Shaina Taub, Mike Brun, Alex Lacamoire, Daryl Waters, Dave Malloy, Or Matias, Ellen Winter, Justin Levine, & Bandits on the Run and accompanied performers such as Aaron Tveit, Stephanie J. Block, Karen Olivo, and Joel Perez.
