Biography
Hi there! I am a music director, pianist, vocal coach, and educator based in Toronto (Canada). Selected Music Direction credits include: Alice in Wonderland (Bad Hats Theatre/Soulpepper - Dora Mavor Moore Nomination, Outstanding Musical Direction); A Christmas Carol (Shaw Festival); Alice in Wonderland, Twelfth Night (Theatre Sheridan), and over 100 performance of Anne & Gilbert (Charlottetown PEI). I've spent 2 seasons as the Associate Music Director at the Charlottetown Festival, playing and and conducting selected performances of Maggie (Theatre Aquarius/Savoy Theatre), I'm Every Woman, Tell Tale Harbour, and Anne of Green Gables - The Musical (only the 2nd woman to conduct the musical since its inception and annual presentation in 1965).
I am a former Shaw Festival Music Intern, where I assisted on (including playing and conducting performances) Holiday Inn, Gatsby's Jazz/Sonny's Blues, The Duke and Two Irenes, and Shawground/Fairground.
I have a Bachelor of Music (Piano, minor Women's and Gender Studies) from Mount Allison University.
Currently I am the assistant to the music director and alternate conductor on the Canadian premiere of Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (Crow's Theatre/Musical Stage Co).
