Paula Winter
Biography
Chicago native Paula Green Winter is a lively percussionist who performs with an assortment of bands and collectives in NYC. Her training encompasses classical concert percussion, Jazz drum set, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, West African, and Middle eastern percussion. She attended Berklee College of Music and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. She has had the honor to record and tour with international artists including Pauline Jean, Chaka Khan, Dawn Drake, Tamar-Kali, Amel Larrieux, The Underground Horns, Black Rock Coalition, and many others in her 15+ year career.
