Nikki Davison

Biography

Nikki is a music producer, composer/lyricist, arranger/orchestrator, vocal arranger, session singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Nikki runs her own studio, Auburn Jam Music in SW London, with her husband Joe (and their dog Jonsi). They write, arrange, orchestrate, record, mix & produce music for TV, films, commercials, concerts and theatre, as well as cast recordings and songwriter/artist albums.

Nikki particularly loves developing new musicals, finding their soundworld in arrangement, orchestration and music production, producing concept albums, and then taking these from studio to stage as music supervisors. Previous shows developed include Public Domain (Vaudeville Theatre West End), Millennials (The Other Palace), Rumi The Musical (London Coliseum & D'Reesha Festival Doha), Broken Wings (Theatre Royal Haymarket, Beiteddine Festival Lebanon, Doha Opera House, Dubai Opera House, Charing Cross Theatre), Take Me Home (Lowry Theatre). Currently in development: Footballer's Wives The Musical (Concept Album out now), ICON: A K-Pop Musical, Gifted: A Period Musical.

Other favourite projects to date include: Writing and producing 10 original 'Pup Songs' for Paw Patrol (Nickelodeon); Arranging & headlining Carols By Candlelight at Expo Dubai; Scoring 'The Girl Who Built A Rocket' for Water Aid; Writing & producing original song 'I'm Open To That' for Samsung; Writing & producing the theme for science show 'Hey You What If' (CBBC); Producing Rags London Cast Recording for Stephen Schwartz (Ghostlight Records); Producing Queen Of The Mist London Cast Recording for Michael John LaChiusa (Pint of Wine); Producing albums for Kerry Ellis, Alice Fearn, Rebecca Levy, Caroline Kay.

Nikki also produces 'Piece By Piece', a musical theatre talkshow podcast, in which host Joe Bunker explores iconic musicals in depth, in discussion with casts and creatives from major productions on Broadway, in the West End and at regional theatres.
