Originally from Russia, Nataly has made her way from the Moscow Conservatory all the way to the East Coast of the United States. There she went on to attend the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland and currently is a freelance orchestra musician in the Greater Washington D.C. area. Although well-grounded in the classical world, she has long been fascinated by improvised music genres. Performing in a wide variety of styles over the years ultimately led her to the jazz world, the sounds of Svend Asmussen and Stephane Grappelli.
