Biography

Laurie Flanigan Hegge is a playwright, librettist, lyricist, and theatre artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Originally an actor and improvisor, she began writing musicals as a long-time company member at Northern Sky Theatre in Door County, Wisconsin, a company which produces all-original work for intergenerational audiences, including her first musical LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS (co-writer, book & lyrics), and commissions SEE JANE VOTE (book & lyrics) with composer James Kaplan, and most recently BOXCAR (book & lyrics, with composer James Valcq).
