She/Her

Biography

I started my music career at the age of 5 as a classical piano player. I was living in Saint Petersburg, Russia and was studying classical music with the major performers from the State Conservatory. At the age of 10 I was playing with the Symphony orchestra, was awarded a number of grants and awards as a young performer.

After graduating high school I decided to change the direction of study and went to school to receive a Masters Degree in Public Relations. While getting her degree I picked up a bass guitar and very soon started touring with my first band Iva Nova. The band was all female and was playing original folk electronic music. The band was on tour all the time in Russia and Europe.

Later on I moved from Saint Petersburg to Moscow, where I discovered my passion for jazz music. Immediately I got hired to work with the most prominent jazz musicians. Besides that, I was playing with major pop singers and was performing all over the country.

After spending a few years later, I decided to move on and applied for Berklee College of Music, where I received a 70% scholarship. I had a huge success at Berklee, received numbers of grants and additional scholarships, including Wes Wehmiller scholarship, the biggest one at Berklee . I started playing and working with Berklee faculty at my second semester. At Berklee she discovered a new passion for technology and production. For my senior project I built my own synthesizer, which became a semi finalist at the Guthman Musical Instrument competition.

After graduating from Berklee I moved to New York City. I immediately got hired by BerkleeNYC - a new Berklee campus, as an Academic Technology assistant. I am also working as sound designer and composer at the Audio Branding agency Audio UX.

Besides that, I immediately started playing with the greatest jazz musician in the city, performing up to 9 shows a week - Ron Affif, Ben Stivers, Ray Angry, Chris Rob and many others.

The most memorable performances I've done so far: Today Show with Joss Stone, US tour with French band Les Nubians and Producer Mondays at Nublu.
