Kristina Dowler
Biography
Kristina has played cello almost twenty years, studying at Shenandoah Conservatory from 2010 to 2014 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in music. During her time there, she participated in the Symphony Orchestra and cello ensemble, as well as a local orchestra (Piedmont Symphony Orchestra).
She has performed in musicals as a cellist around the DMV. Some of her favorite credits include Bright Star (Riverside Center for the Performing Arts), The Bridges of Madison County (SSMT), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (RCPA), Into the Woods (Shenandoah Conservatory) and Fun Home (The University of Mary Washington). Kristina has also recorded for students at Shenandoah University and pandemic recordings. When she’s not performing, she runs her business and is working on her master’s degree in counseling. Kristina also teaches cello lessons privately.
