Katherine Livolsi-Landau
Biography
Katherine Livolsi-Landau grew up in a family of musicians and professional violinists. Her professional experiences have run the gamut from traveling throughout Europe and Japan with numerous chamber orchestras, to being a tenured member with the Long Island Philharmonic, the American Symphony Orchestra, the New York Pops and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, to performing as a violinist and concertmaster in over 50 Broadway shows, 21 of which Ms. Livolsi-Landau held a tenured position, to recording and performing live in concert with such notable artists that include Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Johnny Mathis, Cindy Lauper, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchel, Rufus Wainwright, Paul McCartney, Regina Carter, Placido Domingo, Itzack Perelman, Lang Lang, James Galway, Lynn Harrell, YoYo Ma, and many many others. In addition to her very active performing career Ms. Livolsi-Landau is the ecstatic mother of 2 wonderful teenage daughters.
