Biography
After working in Chicago in the 1990s as a music director and vocal coach for 12 years, I relocated to Winona, Minnesota to teach musical theatre at Saint Mary's University of MN. I'm in my 21st year at SMUMN and have taught musical theatre auditioning, musical theatre scene study, and voice coaching. Over my career, I have directed 13 musicals and/or revues, music directed 47 musicals and/or revues, compiled/arranged 12 musical revues, composed music for 9 theatrical productions (mostly Shakespeare and Brecht), and directed 28 plays. I have been conducting and playing piano/keyboards in musical theatre pits for 38 years.
