Jennifer Liu
Biography
Jennifer Liu is an assistant conductor of the choral program at the University of California, Berkeley. She also serves as a musicianship staff assistant in the music department and an intern for the UC Alumni Chorus. She has been involved as a music advisor for Newsflash: A Mini Musical and assistant music director of the operetta H.M.S Pinafore. Beyond classical music and pop, she hopes to expand into musical theater.
Jennifer was raised in the Bay Area and graduated with a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley in 2019. During her time as a student she was the music director of Walls: A New Musical, arranged and sang with UC Women's Chorale, and was a member of UCB Chamber Chorus. She has studied vocal performance with Deborah Jackson and conducting with Wei Cheng, Mark Sumner, and David Milnes.
