Biography
Jen Hu, CTS-D, is an Audio/Visual Consultant serving clients in the arts, education, government, mixed-use, and worship sectors. Jen designs complete audio/visual systems, including the infrastructure and equipment that gets installed in performing arts spaces. Their skills include Revit, AutoCAD, EASE, QLab, and MATLAB.
Jen's personal passion for music drives their design work. Whether mixing sound for theatre, attending a music festival, or catching a favorite band at a local venue, their heart is in the connection sound has to our lives. Their design philosophy is about removing the barriers that disrupt enjoyment of the experience.
Jen's credits include A1 and A2 for The Humans and 33 1/3 House of Dreams at the San Diego Repertory Theatre and sound design and sound engineering for Spring Awakening at Grossmont College. Jen has also worked as a sound engineer at various venues throughout San Diego since 2015.
