Heidi Stock

Biography

Heidi Stock is an emerging writer of book, music and lyrics for musical theatre.

Heidi completed exams in Grade 8 (Keyboard/Organ) and Grade 2 (Theory/Advanced Rudiments) from The Royal Conservatory of Music.

She is proud to be among 12 emerging Canadian musical theatre writers accepted into the 2016/2017 CMTWC Writers Workshop program led by Canadian musical theatre legend, Leslie Arden, at Randolph College for the Performing Arts.

In 2018/2019, Heidi was accepted into the online Davenport Writers Group II through Davenport Theatrical Enterprises led by acclaimed lyricist Amanda Yesnowitz.

Heidi's first piece, a 90 minute pop/rock musical, IN COMMON, had a two week run at Royal Theatre in the resort town of Thousand Islands in August 2019. IN COMMON has not been on stage in New York City, but it received finalist rankings from two juried festivals in NYC in 2019 (Finalist, Rave Theater Festival and Top 25 Finalist, SheNYC Arts Summer Theater Festival).
