Hannah Nikka Odsinada
Biography
Hannah Nikka Odsinada is a writer and performer for the stage, based in Seattle, WA. Previously, she performed onstage with award-winning theatre companies in the Portland metropolitan area, including Northwest Children's Theatre (Seussical: the Musical) and Vancouver Metropolitan Arts (Les Miserables). They hold a B.M. in Voice Performance from Central Washington University, where they regularly performed with CWU Opera (The Magic Flute, El Gato con Botas, The Gondoliers) and studied Voice under Dr. Gayla Blaisdell. Since earning their degree, they have accepted scholarships to opera libretto and playwriting workshops hosted by Guerilla Opera and Freehold Theatre. In 2021, she was a Finalist for the Composers & the Voice Fellowship at American Opera Project and was selected by Seattle Opera as a Librettist for the Jane Lang Davis Creation Lab. She is currently in her second year in the program, collaborating with fellow Maestra, composer Grace Oberhofer.
