~ I am a recently graduated Music/Musical Theatre student at Marymount Manhattan College. I have experience Music Directing/Assistant Music Directing and would love to continue to integrate my love of music with my love of theatre through opportunities of being a MD/AMD or Music Assistant. ~
Gaby Mank is a Manhattan-based actor, singer, dancer and musical director. Raised on Long Island, she was able to cultivate her love for the musical theatre by seeing shows in the city and performing across the island.
She moved to New York City to study Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College where she is currently a Senior. She is a Music Minor and has been able to deepen her music education by taking music theory classes at Hunter College and piano lessons at the New York Conservatory of Music. As part of the conservatory program, she has performed in student recitals at Steinway Hall. Along with studying musical theatre, she has been assistant musical director for Marymount Manhattan College's productions of Parade and Starlight Express. She also is a founder, musical director and arranger for "On A Side Note," Marymount's only on-campus a cappella group. She Music Directed "American Idiot," as part of the Musical Theatre Association's Fall show (2019). She has served as a Music Assistant/Copyist on shows and readings such as "The Giant Hoax" (Theatre Row), "It's Kind of A Funny Story," "The Karate Kid," and "Akira & the Merpeople."
In her free time, Gaby loves to bake, sew, crochet and visit the Lincoln Center Library for the performing arts for a good book! She also loves to embrace her Northeastern roots and go skiing and ice skating.
