Felisitas Stella
Biography
Ever since she was little, Felisitas Stella (Stella) has always believed in music as a form of community connection and transformative healing. She first fell in love with musical theatre after listening to The Color Purple, realizing that music can be a powerful avenue of self-expression that's intertwined to one's identity and culture. Since then, they are always seeking new work and communities to collaborate and help uplift.
During their study at Berklee College of Music, they were a part of Audire Soundtrack Choir and Orchestra as a vocalist and arranger, performing at spaces like the MIT Killian Hall and Boston University's Agganis Area. They arranged soundtracks from a wide array of musicals and movies such as The Little Mermaid, The Theory of everything, Fiddler on the Roof, and many more. After graduating in 2021, they went on to score multiple short films and worked as Music Assistant for Interstate, an award-winning queer musical based on the book by Kit Yan and Melissa Li. She also worked as Music Assistant for multiple 5th Avenue Theatre projects, including but not limited to MISSTEP by Kit Yan and Melissa Li and Emerald Jett by SassyBlack.
