Biography

Emily Kidder is an International Korean Adoptee and a Eugene, OR native who began formal piano lessons at age 3 while also studying ballet and tap. She studied piano performance at the UO and holds a Degree in Communication and Music from Corban University. She will be finishing her MBA in Music Business from Southern New Hampshire University and Berklee College of Music in July 2021.

Emily has performed in 23 productions as Rehearsal and Orchestra Pianist for SHEDD THEATRICALS, (favorites including The Music Man, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, On the Town, Oliver, Gypsy and Guys & Dolls). Recently at the Hult Center, she performed in the core orchestra as a keyboardist for the Second National Tour of Wicked.

She was a music minister for nine years and currently, Emily serves on the music faculty at Bushnell University, where she is assistant UCO director, accompanist, and teaches Survey of Music Business and applied lessons. Additionally, she is on the production team for the University Choir & Orchestra Spring Shows.
