Eliza Ashley Randall
Biography
Eliza Randall is a composer, pianist, music director, and teacher from Boulder City, NV, currently living in a crowded townhouse in Brooklyn, NY, with 13 other musicians, writers and artists. She began playing the piano and composing music when she was six years old and has been hooked ever since! Her twenty-minute musical THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, written with Sam Norman, was a 2020 Mazumdar New Play Competition Finalist and has been produced by HARP Theatricals, the Irvington Incubator Short Plays Festival and Alleyway Theatre. Her various other stand-alone compositions have been showcased by the Broadway Future Songbook at Lincoln Center, the Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre off-Broadway, the Gallatin Theatre Troupe, and Tin Pan Alley 2. She studied classical piano under internationally renowned pianists Jeffrey Shumway and Stephen Beus, and now works as a piano teacher and freelance accompanist in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in piano performance and received her MFA in musical theatre writing from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
