Biography

Diane is an experienced director, musical director, theatre educator, and coach who is committed to providing education, leadership and inspiration in the fields of Musical Theatre, Voice, Drama/Acting, Educational Theatre, Drama In Education, Youth Theatre, Theatre for Young Audiences, Theatre for Social and Emotional Wellness, and Piano/Piano Accompaniment.

Whether building an original piece or bringing a well-known story to life, Diane celebrates each production as a premiere. She believes each process yields its own distinctive and exciting ensemble dynamic, and honors the unique choices and energies of each contributor, be they cast, designers, composers, writers, musicians, stagecrew, the creative team, the production team, and even the audience.

Diane utilizes musical theatre as a catalyst for academic, personal, artistic, emotional and social exploration, growth and impact. She believes it is one of the most powerful, most transformative resources we have for developing well-rounded, confident and capable individuals, and thriving communities.
