Debbi Clarke

Biography

Debbi works as a professional pianist and accompanist in the West London area. She holds a BMus with honours in piano performance from Kingston University, a Masters degree with Distinction in piano accompaniment from the London College of Music, and a Masters degree with Merit in Musical Direction from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She performs and accompanies regularly, and works as a piano teacher in her local area. Debbi started her venture into Musical Direction six years ago with a production of Pirates of Penzance, and has never looked back! Since then, she has worked on a number of shows both as MD and in the pit, and has loved every minute of it. Past credits include: Legally Blonde, Chicago, Sister Act, Made in Dagenham and Little Shop of Horrors. Most recently she was Musical Director for Liminal, a series of devised operas at The Kings Head Theatre in Islington, and for Beauty and the Beast at the Swan Theatre in Worcester. Debbi also works as MD and rep coach at Performer’s College and ICMT.
