Danielle DeMatteo
Biography
Danielle DeMatteo is an award-winning composer and writer with expertise in electronic orchestration. Her musicals have run off-Broadway and in cities around the country, winning the Midtown International Theatre Award, the Chicago Premier Premieres Award, and Westie Award for Best New Musical. Her musical Ayn Rand in Love was nominated alongside Hamilton for the Best Of Chicago 2017 Award. She is also the founder of She NYC Arts, a nonprofit that produces NYC's premiere festival devoted to full-length plays, musicals, and adaptations by women writers and composers (now in Los Angeles and Atlanta, too!).
Her favorite hobby is orchestrating electronically on Logic, and with her basic equipment and Spaceworks membership, is a home-recording whiz able to help with orchestrating and making demo recordings.
