Clare Wyatt
Biography
Clare is a Canadian music director, pianist, and technologist based in Toronto. Originally from Vancouver, she has MD'd and performed in numerous theatrical productions across the lower mainland. A strong sight reader, she is a frequent call for audition, cabaret, or workshop accompaniment.
Clare holds an MMus in Music Technology and Digital Media from the University of Toronto. During her studies, she was awarded a SSHRC grant for research on the use of live electronics in musical theatre. She has taught and coached at various post-secondary institutions, including Randolph College, Vancouver Film School, Capilano University, and U of T. Beyond her musical expertise, Clare is adept at video/multimedia editing, creative coding (primarily using Max/MSP), and basic lighting and projection design. She is fluent in French.
