Carolin Anna Pichler

Biography

I started my career at 18, staging my own musical productions next to school and university (two runs in Local Theatre, with over 50 artists taking part in them). As a child, I went to a theatre & music school, from 10 years old until 14. Theatre, music, movies, everything fascinated me, and it was clear to me that I wanted to create my own Pieces.

In University, I did a classical Composition Diploma and also a Master of Arts in Cultural Science with the aspect of Management in the Arts and Intercultural Communication. Since then, I also took on commissions in children's theatre, did restorations of old classical music and composed many different classical pieces.

I am now self-employed and trying to build my own career. I manage myself, as well as all my social media.

My chosen field is still musical theatre and also movie scoring, because I like combining music with a story best. Next to creating, I enjoy doing casting and some of the management myself aswell. My main inspiration for my stories and music are the people I write it for and the places I see through my work.

I also have experience in Filming, Cutting, Photography, Painting, Videography, Sounddesign and Directing.
