Caitlin Collins

Biography

Caitlin is a NYC-based lyricist, librettist, actor and singer. Her 10-minute musical THESE WALLS, (Book & Lyrics, Music by Matthew Lowy) won Best Short at the the NYTF Winterfest 2020, and is one of 10 finalists in the upcoming Sound Bites 7.0 Festival. Currently, she's working on the book and lyrics of a new musical commissioned by the American Music Theatre Festival and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. While she loves living in New York, she can also happily work as a local hire in the Chicagoland area, where she was born and raised. As an actor, she has performed with many Chicago and Regional Theaters and worked in TV, film and voice over. She graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Theatre and a Music Theatre Certificate and is currently a lyricist and librettist in the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
