Betsy Podsiadlo
Biography
Betsy Podsiadlo is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, producer, theatre-maker, with a passion for music and the creative arts. With a Masters of Music from The New School and a Bachelors of Music from Westminster Choir College, she has a wealth of experience in both classical and contemporary music, with a particular interest in the intersection of Appalachian music and modern classical and art music. Betsy’s continued arts education includes attending Oxford University’s Summer Singing School in 2018 and a fellowship with the Longy School of Music’s 2022 Divergent Studio Festival with Loadbang, a new music ensemble. Most recently Podsiadlo was granted a 2023 Big Ears Scholarship and is working at Beth Morrison Projects as the 2023 Mellon Producing Fellow.
