    Amy Andrews is a New York City-based librettist/lyricist/songwriter, as well as a dramaturg and producer. She wrote book and lyrics for “The American Dream,” part of the series So Proudly We Hailed, which shares the true stories of U.S. veterans. "The American Dream" is available online - it was also produced live at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2022 and was nominated for Pick of the Fringe.

    Amy is co-founder of Women & Theatre (https://www.womenandtheatre.com/), a new project that explores what it is to be a woman in the theatre industry and aims to build community and break down barriers in theatrical spaces. Amy is a proud graduate of Scripps College, and she has studied musical theater writing with the Musical Theatre Writers Collective. Outside of theatre, Amy has worked professionally in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights, and she is also the proud mom of a rambunctious toddler named Melody.
