Ami Nashimoto

Biography

I'm Ami, a non-binary queer musician! I've been playing professionally in the Bay Area since 2010 and have played cello with companies including Broadway By the Bay, Shotgun Players, 42nd Street Moon, SF Playhouse, and Transcendence Theatre Company. My prominent instrument is cello but I'm also comfortable playing keys like I did in my most recent show with Transcendence (Hooray for Hollywood.)

Along with performing I also teach private cello and piano lessons as well as teach youth musical theater classes.
