Allison Spann is an anti-genre, anti-disciplinary creator who seeks to heal the world through collaborative art-making. She graduated with a degree in Music from Princeton University in 2020 with Certificates in Theater, Music Theater, and Vocal Performance, and is an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon’s Pre-College Program in Music Theater. She is the creator of two original pieces of music theater, Masquerade, and Water Play, which she continues to develop. She has worked with Gustavo Dudamel, Bobby McFerrin, Caroline Shaw, Archie Shepp, Billy Childs, Darcy James Argue, Rob Kaplowitz, Carolann Page, Paul Bogaev, and Gabriel Crouch, among others.
