Adee David
Biography
Adee David is an NYC-based actor, singer, and vocal arranger originally from Miami, Florida. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts: New Studio on Broadway. She has performed both in New York and regionally; she recently made her Off-Broadway debut as part of the Vocal Ensemble of The Life at New York City Center Encores.
In addition to her work in the theatre, Adee has also had the privilege of working as a background vocalist and session singer for artists including John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Jennifer Nettles, Hugh Jackman, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Jason Robert Brown, Loren Allred, Miller and Tysen, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Martin Garrix, and more. Her television appearances include Good Morning America, TODAY, The Tony Awards, Donkey Hodie, Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, and PBS’s A Capital Fourth. She was recently featured in Jennifer Nettles’ music video for her rendition of “Oh What a Beautiful Morning.” She is a member of Broadway Inspirational Voices, a 2019 Tony Honoree for Excellence in Theatre, where she also serves on the Music Team as a Vocal Captain, Vocal Arranger, and Music Transcriber/Copyist (Finale).
