Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to and supporting the Arranger & Orchestrator of Treason, Dr. Matthew Malone.
A combination of creating new arrangements/orchestrations (primarily
underscore/incidental music which will be routined during rehearsals), supporting on other
orchestrations where necessary, preparing rehearsal scores (piano/vocal and vocal scores),
and formatting full score and band parts.

Requirements:
- Previous arranging/orchestration experience; must be adept at orchestration in
many varying styles of music.
- Previous copyist experience.
- Highly experienced with Sibelius.
- Able to work as a team and independently.

Schedule:
5th June – 21st July: Working from home assisting Matthew with any necessary
orchestration/routining tasks, as well as commencing with music preparation.
18th September – 13th October: Working from home but being available (with enough
notice) to head into cast rehearsals to work as necessary with Ricky Allan (Composer) and
Nick Pinchbeck (Music Supervisor). N.B. At this point in the process Matthew will be n/a
(mostly) due to being engaged on another project, and so the associate will take the lead
with arrangement and orchestration work for this period.
16th – 21st October: Working on location for tech and band calls. At this point, Matthew will
be back on Treason full-time, and so the associate/copyist will resume assisting duties.
